Bred by Louis Xavier Joseph Miellez père (France, before 1826).
Introduced in Australia by Thomas Johnson in 1866 as 'La Séduisante'.
Class:
Alba.  
Bloom:
Light pink, white outer petals.  Large, full (26-40 petals), flat bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, upright.  Dark green foliage.  

Height: 4' to 5' (120 to 150cm).
