It almost seems rather more elongated structures that most typical teas, which makes me wonder about noisette-china influences.

I would love to know what went into the breeding of this rose. It has a tendency to produce very generous inflorescences - often such an over-abundance of buds that most fail to open well - something along the lines of what we see in 'E. Veyrat Hermanos' in certain seasons, especially after it has been cut back hard.
This rose is sturdy. Everything about it is strong and substantial - the leaf and petal texture is very firm, the canes are strong.
It does not have the delicacy of most Chinas, Teas and Noisettes but I'm sure they would be in the mix - possibly some Pernetiana / HT as well.
