Origin:
Bred by Wilhelm Kordes III (1953 - 2016) (Germany, before 1991).
Introduced in Germany by W. Kordes' Söhne (Retail) in 1993.
Class:
Florists Rose, Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Yellow.  Strong, fruity fragrance.  35 to 40 petals.  Average diameter 4.75".  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered to flat bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Medium, long, pointed, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, upright, well-branched.  Glossy, dark green, leathery foliage.  5 to 7 leaflets.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot , susceptible to Mildew.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
