This is a fairly large bloom (3") with a very full form. There is considerable variation in bloom coloring from one flower to the next. At times there may be very soft pink blooms and red and white bicolors at the very same time. Sometimes the blooms even have a striped or mottled color pattern. It blooms mostly in the Spring with the occasional bloom through the rest of the growing season. It has been completely free of the three major fungal diseases out in the test garden where disease pressure is quite intense. Most surprisingly, considering its pedigree, this seedling is nearly thornless. I expect to continue with this as a breeding variety.
