Bloom:
Rose-pink. None / no fragrance. Average diameter 2". Small to medium, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, flat bloom form. Moderate, once-blooming spring or summer. Small buds.
Habit:
Tall, arching, armed with thorns / prickles, bushy, climbing, dense, well-branched. Small, semi-glossy, dark green, attractive fall color foliage. 7 leaflets.
Growing:
Can be used for landscape or shrub. Hardy. vigorous. can be grown as a shrub. flowers drop off cleanly. produces decorative hips. rain tolerant. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant. Needs little care; relatively disease-free and quite hardy.
Breeder's notes:
The bloom and foliage size are miniature to mini-flora. New growth is red aging to dark green and the canes turn a wonderful purple in the fall with beautiful colored leaves. Although this one is only once blooming it may be useful for the excellent disease resistance.
