Soul Sister has been an excellent floribunda for its heavy flowering, dense compact habit, and good general health. I’d say it’d be my ‘go to’ apricot for easy care and great garden color. The color is deeper than most apricots, bordering on orange in cool weather. As with most all roses in this color range, they lighten considerably as they age. Like many of the newer Kordes roses, the petals are rather short and unrefined at the edges, so its not the most beautiful individual flower to my eyes, but the plant as a whole is an excellent garden specimen.

"Variety denomination: The denomination of the new variety is `KORconvent`. The new variety of rose plant of the present invention originated from a controlled crossing in a breeding program of two distinct parents during the summer of 2004. The crossing was between `KORunrok`, a non-patented rose, and an `un-named seedling."
