Bred by Joseph Schwartz (France, 1875).
Introduced in Australia by Giles and Son in 1881 as 'Gustave Revilliod'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Light pink, cerise center, mauve edges.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals), cupped, scalloped bloom form.  
Habit:
Dense foliage.

Gustave Revilliod (April 8, 1817 Geneva - December 21, 1890 Cairo), Swiss author, publisher, archeologue, and art collector. Established the Ariana Museum in Geneva.
