Bred by Alain Meilland (1940-....) (France, before 2011).
Introduced in Germany by BKN Strobel GmbH & Co. KG in 2011 as 'Gräfin von Brühl'.
Introduced in France by Meilland Richardier in 2023 as 'La Grande Motte'.
Class:
Shrub.  
Bloom:
White, pink edges.  Mild fragrance.  12 to 15 petals.  Average diameter 2".  Medium, semi-double (9-16 petals), in small clusters, cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Spreading.  Medium green, leathery foliage.  3 to 7 leaflets.  

Height: 16" to 2' (40 to 60cm).  Width: 20" to 28" (50 to 70cm).
Growing:
Can be used for ground cover.

The new variety can be readily distinguished from its ancestors. For instance, the `Meijeunom` variety forms fragrant ivory-white blossoms having a greater number of petals. The `Meiglise` variety displays fragrant bright white blossoms having a lesser number of petals. The `Meibalneo` variety displays dissimilar yellow blossoms. "
