Origin:
Bred by William Paul (1822-1905) (United Kingdom, 1864).
Introduced in Australia by Thomas Lang in 1866 as 'Princess of Wales'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Crimson.  Carmine. Thick petals.  Large, very double, cupped bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Growing:
Hardy.
