Class:
Unknown, Grandiflora, Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Deep pink.  Strong, damask fragrance.  Average diameter 3.25".  Large, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered bloom form.  Prolific, continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  Large, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Medium, bushy.  Large, semi-glossy, light green foliage.  

Height: 28" to 39" (70 to 100cm).  
Growing:
Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or exhibition.  Hardy.  vigorous.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot , very mildew resistant, very rust resistant.  
Breeder's notes:
Marie Duplessis, alias Alphonsine Rose Plessis, which later became the Comtesse de Perrégaux (Nonant-le-Pin, January 15, 1824 - Paris, February 3, 1847), was a famous figure of the courtesan who inspired many works of literature, theater and cinema . Among the most famous is the literary work of Alexandre Dumas The Lady of the Camellias (in which the protagonist takes on the name of Marguerite Gautier), the novel from which it is the famous opera by Giuseppe Verdi La traviata (as of Violetta Valéry).
