My Sweet Mademoiselle gotten from Otto & Sons is two years old and it is now over 6 feet tall. The description has it 43 inches. I think that is incorrect for a So. CA area with rain this year. It is very lovely this hot summer with blooms during 100 degrees.

I love the great vigor of this rose and the fully double, warm colored, and very fragrant blooms. It is well above average for black spot resistance for a hybrid tea. I love that it can be purchased as an own root plant and it still is super vigorous.

What do you estimate the hardiness zone David?
Looks like 6 at best to me?

In zone 4 at Lyndale Park in Minneapolis without protection plants died out. I'm not sure which zone would be best to rate it to without protection. I love it and don't mind protecting mine here in zone 4 to help it make the winter.

The new variety of Rosa hybrida Hybrid Tea rose plant was created by artificial pollination wherein two parents were crossed which previously had been studied in the hope that they would contribute the desired characteristics. The female parent (i.e., the seed parent) was the product of the cross of the ‘Meironsse’ variety (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 8,496) and ‘Ausmas’ variety (non-patented in the United States). The male parent (i.e., the pollen parent) was the ‘Baipeace’ variety (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 14,731).
