Origin:
Bred by William Paul (1822-1905) (United Kingdom, 1863).
Introduced in Australia by Joseph Harris, South Yarra Nurseries in 1865 as 'Red Rover'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Fiery red.  Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Prolific, continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  
Growing:
Can be used for pillar.  Very vigorous.
