Botzaris Damask. Raiser unknown 1856. Description... The light green bush is much neater in habit than most Damasks, a sign, it is thought, of Alba ancestry... creamy white flowers... Parentage unknown.

‘Botzaris’ = Damas. Obtenu en 1856. Hauteur 1m50. Fleurs 7cm de diamètre. Ce buisson, moyennement vigoureux mais dressé, a le feuillage vert clair. Les fleurs très doubles, mais aplaties en fin d’épanouissement, sont blanches avec le centre verdâtre.

'Botzaris' (1856) A beautiful old rose which is believed to owe its fragrance and whiteness to its relationship to R. alba. The flower is about 75mm or more across, flat, quartered, creamy white with a button eye. Foliage light green, wood quite prickly on a plant up to more than a metre high.
