Sent the seedling to Il Giardino dei Pigri in Italy. Over there it thrives. Upright instead of weak necks as is the case at the hip-parent 'The Wedgewood Rose".
He is very pleased with this rose and describes the scent as: "A typical heavy red rose scent with some notes of red wine and Jasmine... I’m not exaggerating, it’s one of the best ever I had the chance to sniff".
He pointed out the upright growth too in contrary to the hip-parent.
