Bred by Unknown Italian Breeder(s) (Italy, before 1828).
Introduced in France by Jean Laffay in 1831 as 'Macartney à fleurs pleines'.
Introduced in Australia by Exotic Nursery (Australia) in 1866 as 'Macartney à fleurs pleines'.
Class:
Hybrid Bracteata.  
Bloom:
White, light pink shading.  Medium, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Habit:
Glossy foliage.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
