Class:
Hybrid Kordesii, Large-Flowered Climber.
Bloom:
Blush uniformly overlaid with rose red and medium pink stripes.. 15 to 25 petals. Average diameter 3". Medium, semi-double to double, in large clusters, flat to cupped, rounded bloom form. Prolific, continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.
Habit:
Medium, climbing, few or no prickles/thorns. Medium, glossy, dark green foliage.
Growing:
Can be used for pillar. Very hardy. very vigorous. rain tolerant. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant, very blackspot resistant., very mildew resistant, very rust resistant.
Breeder's notes:
This listing is provided as an example of continuous improvement of desirable traits on a single cultivar, Dortmund. The continuous improvement provides a more manageable plant, with 95% less prickles, more rows of petals, and striped blooms. However, the foliage is slightly less interesting.
