Notes:
Despite the similarity of names, this is probably not the same rose as 'Violette de Crémer', which was raised in Douai. This rose is described as dark red and marbled, while 'VdC' is described as being dark violet, and evenly colored. Possibly this is a variegated sport of the earlier rose?
