Here is a typical bloom of Rosa rugosa held next to my own hybrid of Rosa rugosa (alba) with my "Dogwood Ridge" clone of Rosa carolina. The hybrid has coral-pink buds opening to pink flowers and has a tendency to bloom again in the fall, at the tips of strong new canes.
