From the 1926 series of Wills's cigarette cards. (no 49)

A fine free flowering and vigorous variety, which will be much in demand when it is more generally known. The flowers are carried in elegant clusters, and keep their colour in almost any weather. An excellent rose for massing, for edging, or for growing as a specimen plant under glass. It is of dwarf habit, and requires very little pruning. Introduced in 1921.
