From 1926 series of Wills's cigarette cards (No 29)

LOS ANGELES.
(Hybrid Tea.)
The best "general utility'' rose yet introduced. It is a vigorous and persistent grower, very free flowering from the middle of June until quite late in the autumn, and a most valuable decorative rose. The flowers are all perfectly formed, carried on long elegant stems, and are very sweetly scented. Should be pruned to within four "eyes" early in March. Introduced in 1916, and is worthy of a place in every garden.
