No 16. from the Wills’s Cigarettes 1912 Series of 50 Roses
WILLIAM ALLEN RICHARDSON.
(Noisette.)
A delightful buttonhole rose in the bud state, with climbing habit of growth. It is very floriferous, and an excellent rose for growing in conservatories or against walls with a southwest aspect. Colour varies according to climatic influence, and is deepest when grown on a light gravelly soil. Introduced in 1878.
