The flowers are very large, of great substance, and perfect shape, produced freely and continuously throughout the summer and autumn. Vigorous in habit of growth, and quite hardy, it was awarded the gold medal of the National Rose Society in 1904, and also the Nickerson Cup as the best rose in the Hybrid Tea section introduced since 1900.
