MAY WETTERN
(Hybrid Tea)
Introduced 1928
Inner petals bright salmon, outer rosy-pink.
A variety of sturdy upright habit. The blooms are a good shape, very freely produced on long erect stems. Fragrant. The dark green foliage is very profuse, and the plant produces shoots to such an extent that, in order to get perfect blooms, it is necessary to thin them, only allowing about eight to a tree. It is one of the best garden varieties we have. Prune the third week in March moderately hard to three eyes. Awarded a Gold Medal of the National Rose Society.
