SIR DAVID DAVIS
(Hybrid Tea)
Introduced 1926
Deep crimson
A variety that has admirable traits for growing as a bedding or garden Rose. The fragrant blooms are produced freely throughout the year. The habit of growth is vigorous and upright, making a large bush if desired. The foliage is light olive-green, but the wood is rather thorny. At times liable to mildew, which can be checked by spraying. Prune the end of March to five eyes.
