This rose seems to be a slow starter, but has started to bloom now. Most of the other roses that went in at the same time (mid June 2016) are much more advanced.
The colour is very rich and dark, with no sign of the other shades this rose is known for. I expect those will turn up later.
Nicely scented. A mixture of tea and rose, with woody and spicy notes.
