Madame E.C. as 2 month own-root on August 12, vigorous & healthy .. I don't expect it to produce blooms until the 2nd year like Madame Isaac P., and Souvenir du President Lincoln next to it. It was pale in the pot, then leaves became dark green in my clay fixed with pine-bark-shavings.
