Bordesholm/Northern Germany, June 11th, 2018. I had to hold the bloom up for taking the picture; the blooms are drooping. A vigorous healthy plant, and the rather small blooms are very beautiful - a bit shaped and coloured like those of S.d.l. Malmaison, but with a hue of light scarlet in the center. Unfortunately, they are even more prone to ball than those of Souvenir, so that it is not often that one sees a bloom as beautiful as that in the picture.
