If this specimen of Dr. Grill is the same as the one mentioned in the 1923 Sydney Morning Herald reference (and it quite likely is) it must have been planted in the Botanic Gardens only a year or so after Dr. Grill's introduction. The height in 1923 would have been about 13 feet. I'm wondering if the Royal Botanic Garden have more photos in their archives or even a dried specimen in their Herbarium. I will write to them asking about this.
