Thank You Robert. We had a bad rose-season, after a good start. Almost no flowering, so this was a bonus. And right now it's freezing. White roofs etc.

I think the cool temperatures made for a beautiful late blossom.

Sorry to hear about your rose season Jay Jay. Ours wasn't very good locally either. I lost a number of unique varieties to heat stress. We had a number of days in the high teens and twenties here. I don't know what that equates to in celsius but it's HOT.

It was uncommonly hot and dry over here for a long time. Still lacking a lot of millimeters of rainfall right now. Even the lawn-grass died. And lots of the Rhododendrons.

I fear this our new normal. Projections predict up to a five degree temperature rise here over the next few decades.
