Le Vésuve  rose photo courtesy of member Margaret Furness
Photo Id: 326678

Rose in commerce in Australia as Le Vesuve. Photo taken in autumn at Ruston's Roses, in the HRIA Collection. Zone 9b. Planted a little under 5 years earlier. Cutting-grown from an old plant on the property. Plants in the Collection received the same irrigation and fertiliser regime as the commercial cut-flower beds, and therefore were essentially forced. They were deadheaded regularly.
Note from a Tea book author: "starts out like a China-Tea, ends up like a Gigantea Hybrid."
