14 Sep 2019. Livermore, CA. Study photo: bloom #1 (of three), diameter 8 cm, a fall bloom, so a bit smaller, less full, than a spring bloom, but the color is relatively dark for this time of the year, perhaps due to less heat than usual (until yesterday, when it went to 100 degrees F!).
