"Ferguson Valley Deep Purple Pink" parent plant.
Spring, Western Australia.
To my eye it is the foliage that is the most recognisable feature of this rose.
The leaflets broaden to almost a circular shape and have prominent veins that are often conspicuously impressed, and moderately coarse serrations.
The blooms are often held on curved and twisted pedicels that have been described as 'swan-necked'.
These features are identical in "Kombacy Elyena" which was collected near Mildura in Victoria.
