Photo: Spring 2023 NJ My most vigorous grower. I had to cut the welded wire fence so the inch thick cane wouldn't rub against it! James Galway climbing rose is a beast! It is more vigorous than any other rose. It shot up almost 8 ft before I got a chance to peg it to the five foot fence and now it is too rigid to bend so I'll leave it like that. I'll try to upload a photo of it soon. Nice fragrance but not too strong. Blooms not huge but tight, neat ruffles than I've ever seen before. Huge flush in spring!
