Cliff, someone in Germany would like to plant 'Bukavu' as village decoration (red-white are their heraldic colours). They are asking how healthy the shrub is, as they will not use chemicals. Your opinion?

I can't think of a better choice, as least based upon what I've seen with Bukavu here. I don't spray at all, but I'm always quick to point out that we're blessed with relatively few problems in terms of diseases. We're fortunate that in that our hot, dry climate the worst we normally see is a bit of powdery mildew, and even that disappears as the desert summer sets in. Although I've seen some powdery mildew on other hybrid musks, I've not seen any on Bukavu.
