Michigan Rose and Clematis Garden (with a few peonies eventually!

Sharing progress of my gardens! I started with rose beds, but have been adding clematis this year as well. I garden in heavy clay in 5b/6a Michigan - I am never quite sure what the winters will bring, so 99% of my roses are own root! I grow around 50 varieties right now, a mix of lots of floribundas, english roses, climbing roses, a rambler or two, and a hybrid tea or two that snuck in (but not my favorite type of rose). My clematis so far are Jackmanii, Dr. Rupple, Gillian Blades, Elsa Spath, and an unknown dark red, probably Niobe. I think there's a small pink one around somewhere too, but not sure of the name.
