Northampton Nurseries operated from c1859-1877 by Benjamin Johnson (1823-1879) and his brother Stephen Johnson (1825-1901) at Thomastown, Preston, Victoria, Australia.  They supplied to other nurseries such as Thomas Lang and to the public.

Refer The Oxford Companion to Australian Gardens 2002, page 338 for more on this nursery.

Below are roses that have not been added to B. & S.Johnson’s Northampton Nurseries, Preston, Victoria 1861 catalogue listing on HelpMeFind, either as references or introductions. Instead I have listed them in the nursery’s catalogue’s page. With little descriptions or possible mis-spellings, it is difficult to determine just which roses they were.
p7. Duchesse d’Angouleme H.C. Bright rose
p7. Louis Napoleon HP  deep rose       [possibly ‘Louis Bonaparte’ 1939, which F. C. Davis introduced in 1862, but with no colour mentioned.  William Paul in 1848 lists a deep vermilion HP ‘Louis Buonaparte’.]
p8. Madame Andot H. Pro[vence], rosy blush.
p8. Madame Dubois. B. Pale rose.
p8. Pink China.  [?Parsons Pink China]
