Novelty Roses of 1972. 'Autumn Sunset'. (HT, Gandy, 1970). A lovely colouring of soft Autumn yellow, faintly tinged in petals to darker Autumn tonings. This is of perfect form in bud and develops to a lovely rich full bloom. Flowers profusely, good grower and nice foliage.

p17. Novelty Roses of 1971. 'Bonfire' (McGredy, 1971). This was our 1971 cover rose and also our McGredy "lead" rose for last year. A tremendous colouring of deep orange to bronze red. Perfect form developing slowly into a bloom of double status. Good growth and nice foliage set with the rich colouring of the bloom. Very highly recommended.

p17. Novellty Floribunda roses of 1971. 'Charles Dickens' (McGredy, 1971). a lovely newcomer from the House of McGredy. Colouring being a strong salmon pink. Free flowering, vigorous growth and lovely lustrous foliage which is disease resistant, all add up to a very promising rose creation.

New Australian Rose. Chelsea 77. (H.T.) (Langbecker, 1978). This has been named at the request of the Australian Red Cross Society (Nambour Branch) in honour of their 21st Jubilee and is a superb new Australian release. This has been named 'Chelsea 77'. This is a superb well formed exhibition standard soft pink. The blooms are produced on long sturdy stems of exquisite bud formation developing to full double many petal blooms. Lustrous clean disease resistant foliage, strong growth, free flowering makes this new Rose a very promising newcomer with its first introduction onto the Australian market. $5.50.
