Photos posted by those in Europe look a great deal like those of the cultivar distributed as, 'Clementina Carbonieri', here in the U.S.

They are very similar. However, CC in Europe has a bluish tinge to the outer petals and is not so orange as SdGN. We shall compare the two over a number of years.

....and she is mostly equal to 'isabelle nabonnand' and 'clementina carbonieri' from european sources, at least...

Have you managed to track the provenance of each/any of these versions of the rose?
Any thoughts on the reasons for confusion?
We don't have roses under any of these names in commerce in Australia today.
'Souv. de Gilbert Nabonnand' was sold by one of the main rose nurseries here in the 1930s and 40s so its possible that plants still exist here.
