Bred by Bruder Alfons (Germany, 1925).
Introduced in Germany by Liebau in 1936 as 'Maria Lisa'.
Class:
Hybrid Multiflora, Rambler.  
Bloom:
Pink blend.  None / no fragrance.  Small, single (4-8 petals), in large clusters bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Climbing, thornless (or almost).  
Height of 6' 7" to 9' 10" (200 to 300 cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Very vigorous.

Notes:
Small hips. Almost thornless.

Maria and Liesa (Lisa) were the names of two women who worked at the Cloister of Germershausen.
