Mine is more than 10 years old and on own root. It is very vigorous and the flowers are gorgeous.

While this rose is old and does survive the winter with mounting mulch, it is a poor performer. Vigor is very poor, it's in a location where all other roses do brilliantly. Again it is 17 years old and produces few bloom and has not died off, it is a poor performer I must say. When it does bloom only in spring and fall the few buds it gets are stunning and massive and strongly perfumed. Some years the only blooms sent balled, and never opened at all, or produced another bud, seems to happen in very hot summers. . Other years nice but never great. Wouldn't recommend to new Rosarians. Just my experience here in Denver Colorado.

I find this rose to be quite hardy/vigorous. (in zone 6). It doesn't need a super amount of attention for a hybrid tea. The cutting stems on this rose can get to be "florist" length if you treat the plant right.....nice!
