Bloom: Silver(y) - lilac.  Flowers silvery lilac-lavender.  Moderate, fruity fragrance.  35 to 40 petals.  Average diameter 5.5".  Very large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.   
Habit: Bushy, few or no prickles/thorns.  Large, dark green foliage.  
 Height: 30" to 3' (75 to 90cm).
 
Growing: USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Can be used for cut flower or garden.  Vigorous.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot .  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .

Notes: A 1966 reference states the parentage as 'Magenta' x unnamed seedling.
