Bred by Donald L. & Mary Hardgrove (United States, 1988).
Introduced in United States by Nor' East Miniature Roses in 1989 as 'Nighthawk'.
Class:
Miniature.  
Bloom:
Red.  Mild to strong, damask fragrance.  25 to 30 petals.  Average diameter 1.25".  Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, in small clusters, exhibition, high-centered to flat, reflexed bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long sepals, decorative, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Medium, bushy, upright, well-branched.  Medium, semi-glossy, medium green, dense foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower, exhibition or garden.  Very vigorous.
