Bloom:
Crimson, purple shading. Crooked stalks. None to mild, apple fragrance. Small to medium, very double, borne mostly solitary, cupped, nodding or "weak neck" bloom form. Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season. Long buds.
Habit:
Upright, well-branched. Dark green foliage. Height of 8' to 9' (245 to 275 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
Notes:
Said to have been very similar to 'Souvenir de Thérèse Levet'- see References. Pierre Guillot believed 'Francis Dubreuil' to be a descendant of 'Souvenir de David d'Angers'. - see References.
