Origin:

Bred by Francis Dubreuil (France, 1885).
Introduced in Australia by Robert Rattray's Rosebank Nursery in 1894 as 'Marquise de Vivens'.

Found Rose, Tea.

Bloom:

Carmine-pink to pink, light yellow undertones, blush reverse. Strong, violets fragrance. Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped-to-flat bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Long buds.

Habit:

Few or no prickles/thorns, well-branched.

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
