PAULA CLEGG (Hybride remontant). Issue de Kaiserin x Jaune Bicolor. Cette nouveauté est très résistante au froid. La fleur est de même forme et de même couleur que Richmond, c'est-à-dire rouge écarlate brillant, mais plus pleine, et d'un très agréable parfum. Elle s'ouvre toujours très bien. C'est une des roses les plus odorantes.

Stammt von Kaiserin x Jaune Bicolor. Von letzerer hat sie die Winterhärte und den starken, aufrechten Wuchs, von ersterer die schöne Form der Blume. Die Farbe ist leuchtend blutrot, ähnlich Richmond. Die Belaubung ist groß und gesund. Der starke Centifolienduft macht sie zu einer Schnittrose I. Ranges. Leider blüht sie im ersten Jahre nicht sehr reichlich, wie alle die obigen Sorten, als ältere Pflanze holt sie aber reichlich nach. Infolge der absoluten Winterhärte ist sie als Heckenrose, Strauchrose besonders geeignet. Für städtische Anlagen, Parkgruppen usw. sehr wertvoll.

Descends from Kaiserin x Jaune Bicolor. From the latter it has the winter hardiness and strong, upright growth, from the former the beautiful shape of the flower. The color is bright blood red, similar to Richmond. The foliage is large and healthy. The strong centifolia scent makes it a first-class cut rose. Unfortunately, like all the above varieties, it doesn't bloom very abundantly in the first year, but as an older plant it catches up plenty. Due to its absolute winter hardiness, it is particularly suitable as a hedge rose and shrub rose. Very valuable for municipal facilities, park groups, etc.
