Bred by Wendy R. White (United States, circa 2001).
Introduced in United States by Nor' East Miniature Roses in 2007 as 'Mother Lode'.
Class:
Miniature.  
Bloom:
Golden-yellow.  None to mild fragrance.  17 to 28 petals.  Average diameter 2".  Small to medium, double (17-25 petals), in small clusters, high-centered bloom form.  Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Short, compact, well-branched.  Small, semi-glossy, dark green, dense, leathery foliage.  3 to 7 leaflets.  

Height: 1' to 15" (30 to 40cm).  Width: 15" to 18" (40 to 45cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 10b.  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, garden or specimen.  Vigorous.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .  
Breeder's notes:
Chosen by the Mother Lode Rose Society from Gold Rush country in California, which is where its name originated.
Flowers may be in every shade of gold and are borne in profusion on a compact and vigorous plant.
