Origin:
Bred by Samuel Darragh (1932-2019) McGredy IV (1958).
Introduced in Netherlands by Jan Spek Rozen BV as 'Red Lion'.
Introduced in New Zealand by Avenue Roses/Avenue Nurseries (Levin) Ltd. in 1965 as 'Red Lion'.
Introduced in Australia by Langbecker in 1967 as 'Red Lion'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Red.  Deep cerise pink. Becoming rose-red or rose-pink..  Mild fragrance.  up to 26 petals.  Average diameter 5".  Large, full (26-40 petals), high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  

Height: 3' to 4'11" (90 to 150cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 4b and warmer.  Can be used for cut flower.
