Bred by Brad Jalbert (Canada, before 1995).
Introduced in Canada by Select Roses in 1995 as 'Reiko'.
Introduced in New Zealand by Amoré Roses in 2016 as 'Reiko'.
Class:
Miniature.  
Bloom:
Pink blend, light pink reverse.  Strong, fruity, honey fragrance.  Average diameter 1.5".  Medium to large, full (26-40 petals), classic hybrid tea, exhibition bloom form.  Moderate, blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Medium, fragrant, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Medium.  Medium, glossy foliage.  

Height: 1' to 14" (30 to 35cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for container rose, exhibition or garden.  Benefits from winter protection in colder climates.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot , mildew resistant.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  
Breeder's notes:
One of my very early roses and still one that people adore. It has a wonderful fresh clean fragrance, and very pure colour. Grows best when given good culture.

Notes:
The June 1998 issue of the American Rose, p. 20, says the name of this rose has changed from 'Reiko™' to Reiko.
