I planted this rose in my garden in 2013. In spite of its rave reviews it got bad mildew last year--which happens often when I have to start a rose in a pot. This year it's performing beautifully and is one of my favorites in my garden. It's a really gorgeous rose that stands up to direct sun with flying colors. I think it does take a year to become fabulous.

Could someone please comment on it's fragrance. Is it strong or light? Is the scent always present or fleeting?
