Doctor Van Fleet, of Little Silver, N.J., is credited with these: ...Sir Thomas Lipton, Clothilde Soupert X R. rugosa alba. Similar to New Century but longer foliage; flowers very double, pure white and exceedingly fragrant. Opens out flat like a camellia (1904).
